Andrew began his career in the late 90s working for a Housing Association in Glasgow before moving to London in 2001 to join a small private practice. In 2002 Andrew moved to Land Securities Trillium where he spent five years working on the Department of Work & Pensions Life Cycle Capital Expenditure contract. This focused on planned maintenance and project management works across the Job Centre portfolio.

Andrew gained his Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors during this time, before leaving in 2007 to join Malcolm Hollis LLP. Andrew spent 11 years at Malcolm Hollis covering a wide range of building surveying services. His main focus was in Dilapidations, Planned Maintenance and Reinstatement Cost Assessments, coupled with a strong base of technical due diligence work across various guises. In 2018 Andrew took the decision to set up KKBM Building Surveyors Ltd in the Berkshire area to continue and develop his passion for life as a diverse Building Surveyor.
